Appointment of Mrs Koh Juat Jong As Solicitor-General

Mrs Koh Juat Jong, will be appointed as the new Solicitor-General, AGC with effect from 11 April 2008.

Mrs Koh, who was appointed as Registrar of the Supreme Court on 6 Dec 2003, first joined the Legal Service in 1989. She was posted to the Attorney-General’s Chambers as a State Counsel before being re-posted to the Supreme Court in 1994 as a Senior Assistant Registrar. In 1995, she became a District Judge in the Subordinate Courts and was subsequently the Principal District Judge, Family and Juvenile Justice Division until her appointment as the Registrar, Supreme Court. Mrs Koh was awarded the PPA (Gold) in 2005.
