Australian Law Practice Lists On ASX.

In May 2007 Slater & Gordon Limited became the first Australian law firm to be listed on the Australian Stock Exchange to finance mergers and acquisitions.

Soon after its listing, the Practice went on an acquisition trial. In July 2007 the acquisition of D’Arcys Solicitors was completed. D'Arcys Solicitors is a Brisbane based firm specialising in Military Compensation.

In September 2007 the Practice marked its second acquisition and its largest to date: McClellands Lawyers, who specialise in personal injury litigation and have offices in the Sydney CBD, Parramatta and Canberra.
