Capitamall Trust Singapore's First REIT IPO

Capitamall Trust (CMT) is Singapore's first Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) which IPOed in Juny 2002.

CMT's property portfolio at IPO consists of the following major shopping centres in Singapore:
· Tampines Mall, one of Singapore's major suburban shopping malls in terms of Net Lettable Area, located in the high-density residential area of Tampines, a regional town in the east of Singapore, adjacent to the Tampines bus interchange and the Tampines MRT station;
· Junction 8 Shopping Centre, a suburban shopping mall located in the high-density residential area of Bishan in central Singapore, which is strategically located between the Bishan bus interchange and the Bishan MRT station; and
· Funan, one of Singapore's premier electronics and information technology malls located in Singapore's Central Business District, near to the City Hall MRT interchange station.
