The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) are conducting a joint consultation on Electronic Contracting Issues. The consultation concerns possible amendments to the Electronic Transactions Act (ETA) relating to electronic contracting.
The consultation seeks guidance and feedback for the Singapore delegation on issues currently under consideration at the international level by UNCITRAL, in relation to on-going work on a draft Convention on Electronic Contracting by the UNCITRAL Working Group on Electronic Commerce. It also seeks public views on the potential impact of the proposed Convention.
The consultation paper on Electronic Contracting Issues is available on the
IDA website and
AGC website (under Publications). Please send your feedback to the Law Reform and Revision Division of the Attorney-General's Chambers, marked "Re: Electronic Contracting Issues", by 15 March 2004. Your feedback may be sent:-
