myGovernment is the single gateway to information and services provided by Malaysian Government agencies on the Internet. The myGovernment initiative was undertaken by Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU). MAMPU is a central agency under the Prime Minister Department entrusted with the task of introducing administrative reforms in the public sector to upgrade the quality, efficiency, effectiveness and integrity of Malaysian public service in accordance with national goals.

Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Samsudin Osman officially launched the portal at the Public Sector Chief Information Officers 2005 Conference here Tuesday, 12 December 2005. The portal can be accessed at http://www.gov.my/ .

The myGovernment portal offers 325 types of online services by 844 government agencies and departments.

Among others, the portal has information on news, government calendar of events, job vacancies, tender notices, advertisements, announcements and public complaints.

Businessmen can access it to register companies, conduct bankruptcy searches, and enquire and apply for licences. The portal also allows the downloading of some 2,930 different forms.
